“In business since 1958, Binatone is the official licensee of Motorola mobility products ranging from baby monitors to car accessories, Bluetooth headsets, home monitors and pet accessories. We are the top player in the supply of baby monitors across the globe. Binatone has been participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair since 2012 to fuel expansion, particularly in the Asia Pacific market. We are introducing our smart nursery series at the fair this year. The app-based interactive system enables parents to monitor their child and nursery from anywhere anytime, complete with smart analytics and baby care functions. The feedback in the first day of exhibition has been positive. We’ve met with both new and existing customers from Japan, Sweden, Russia and the Middle East. Some distributors from Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia will visit us in the next couple of days. This fair attracts a number of good quality buyers specialising in the baby-related business. The results have been encouraging. A Japanese buyer with whom we successfully developed business at last year’s fair came again to expand business relationship. This is a great place to promote new products and enhance relationships with customers worldwide.”

“Founded in 2009, Spa Formula specialises in the production of licensed confectionery items for babies and kids. We are the official licensee of Peppa Pig, Disneyland and Minion. This is our second-year presence at Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to introduce our biscuits, candies and confectionery products. The new Minion series is one of the highlights on display. Buyers have expressed keen interest in our offerings. We’ve encountered more Chinese mainland buyers this year. Some buyers from Thailand, India and Vietnam also came to us in the first day. We are quite positive about establishing cooperation with two new customers from India and Vietnam for the distribution of our licensed items. Last year, we found two distributors from Singapore and Thailand to make entry into the two markets. We’ve also listed our products on HKTDC’s website and it successfully generated new business as a result. This fair has been well organised, featuring everything under one roof. The concurrent Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and Hong Kong International Licensing Show make it even better as a diversity of buyers get together to explore cross-over business collaboration.  It’s excellent to hold the fair at the start of the year. The timing is perfect and this is an annual event we will not miss.”

“Goodbaby is the world’s leading manufacturer of children’s products such as car safety seats and strollers. Our wide-ranging products are selling under different brands worldwide. We have been participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair since 2012 to fuel business growth. This year, we focus on promoting our Evenflo brand to international buyers. A comprehensive range of products are on offer, ranging from car seats to strollers, bouncers, baby walkers and carriers. We’ve received strong enquiries from various customers including new buyers from Russia, Chile, Argentina, UAE and Iran. It will take some time to build up new relationships. “Capella is a baby stroller brand from Korea committed to providing modern and fashionable products to bring extra comfort and care for babies. We have been participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for several years. We are launching our new stroller series at the fair this year. The new model comes with a more comfortable seat, lighter weight and a more compact design to cater to the needs of customers. Other products on offer include hipseat carriers, mother bags and accessories. Competition is keen and we work continuously to enhance our design to stand out in the market. This fair is a good place to showcase and promote our latest offerings. We are in touch with some new buyers from different places such as India, Israel and Argentina for business development. A number of existing customers have also visited our booth to see our new designs and discuss orders for the coming year. “Pali is a well-known baby product brand in Italy with a long history. We have been in operation since 1919, providing a wide range of quality wooden cots, strollers and highchairs. We had visited Hong Kong Baby Products Fair in the past year and successfully found good suppliers and partners. This is our debut as an exhibitor at the fair to promote our brand. Highlights include our made-in-Italy baby cots as well as strollers and a new multi-functional highchair series. The feedback has been excellent. We’ve got a lot of new contacts. Five orders were already concluded with new buyers from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Lebanon and the Chinese mainland, involving one container of products each. This is a very good start. The Hong Kong fair can really drive our expansion in Asia. We will exhibit again next year and hopefully take up a bigger booth to showcase our products.”

“Sophie la girafe is a beloved early learning toy for babies from France. Born in 1961, the toy is made of natural rubber from hevea trees and it helps stimulate babies’ senses with soft touch and pleasant scent. We have been participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for several years for business expansion in Asia. This year, we have launched more new designs and a gift box series at the fair. The response has been very positive. We’ve met with even more buyers especially from different Asian markets including Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia. “Little Nobleman went into operation in 2016 with the launch of our innovative milk temperature monitor Milkchecker. The device is easy to use and helps parents check the temperature of formula accurately and conveniently to ensure the safety of babies. We are making our debut presence at Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to present this new product to international buyers. The feedback has been terrific. A number of buyers have approached us for business development. They include buyers from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Malaysia, Singapore, Poland and Greece. Some of them are looking to distribute our products while others are negotiating for OEM orders. Among the new contacts, a Chinese mainland baby and maternity product retailer is keen to develop business with us. A distributor from Greece also intends to launch our product in Europe. We anticipate to conclude deals within the next six months or so to grow our presence. This fair is a perfect platform to promote our business and raise our profile. Things are well arranged and set up here. We will continue to exhibit next year.”

“Aleva Naturals is the leading brand of natural baby skincare products in Canada. At present, our skincare products are selling in 14 countries and regions worldwide including USA, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the Middle East. We are participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the second consecutive year to expand our presence in Asia. The exhibition is mainly promoting our natural skincare products for babies and mothers under the Aleva Naturals brand. Another focus is presenting baby feeding accessories under the Vital Baby brand to new customers. We are here looking for long-term partners and distributors in different Asian markets. “We are the biggest manufacturer of baby play mats in Korea. Our products are exported to 25 countries and regions around the world. The biggest markets are USA, the Chinese mainland, Australia, followed by Europe and South America. We have been participating in Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for several years to reach out to international customers. The focus is promoting our Baby Care brand this year with the release of new designs and styles of our play mats, playpens and folded mats. We have received enquiries from a number of buyers from different places such as Taiwan, the Chinese mainland, the UK, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Middle East. The response has been good and we will provide the pricing details based on buyers’ requirements accordingly. It will usually take 3 to 6 months for the process of negotiation. The organiser has done a good job to promote the fair. We will continue to participate in the fair to grow our business.”

“In business for about 9 years, our company is a major shopping mall operator specialising in the sale of products for babies and kids. We currently operate two malls in the city centre of Dalian, providing a comprehensive range of products for newborn babies and kids up to the age of 16. I am visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the second year. It proved to be another rewarding journey. I have identified several potential suppliers for a selection of nursery items, baby safety products, bouncers and diapers. I am particularly interested in a mix of appealing nursery sets offered by a Hong Kong exhibitor and a smart diaper product developed by a Dongguan-based supplier from the Chinese mainland that can monitor whether or not the diaper is wet enough to justify changing it. I am very keen to establish business relationships with them. Further discussions will be conducted to foster cooperation. This fair has very strong appeal to the industry. Everything has been so nicely done to enable that all of us can source and do business in a comfortable environment.”

“Nina is a manufacturer of textile products for babies in India. For business expansion, we are extending our product categories to cover more baby-related items such as bouncers, walkers, highchairs and strollers. That's why we are visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the first time to source products to fuel growth. So far, we’ve found a potential supplier of highchairs from the Chinese mainland. We are still searching around for more interesting products and new suppliers. This is really a good show with a diversity of quality exhibitors and an amazing mix of baby products. Further negotiation will be held to conclude deals. Initial orders are estimated at about US$25,000 to US$30,000. This fair is a wonderful sourcing platform for everyone. We will definitely come again next year.”

“We are running mamibuy.com.tw, Taiwan’s most popular online community site that offers parenting information and allows for useful family exchanges to take care of babies. Our platform has some 650,000 registered members in Taiwan and we have expanded our presence into Hong Kong. At present, we are carrying about 1,000 brands for a great variety of baby products. Hong Kong Baby Products Fair is a good sourcing place to find interesting items and enhance our product categories. I have seen a lot of new designs and products again this year. So far, I have spotted a Korean brand that provides appealing nursery bottles. Further talks will be held with the brand to explore cooperation. I have also found some interesting toys for babies and kids here. Product lifecycles are getting shorter and shorter so it is important to visit a fair like this to enrich sourcing continuously. This fair is professionally run by HKTDC with excellent services. I always suggest Taiwan’s fair organisers learn from Hong Kong to make trade shows in Taiwan better.”

“All Baby Child specialises in the distribution of branded toy products such as strollers and playpens in Singapore. We currently carry different established brands from USA, Switzerland and Korea. I am visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair this year to find more branded products for further expansion. The fair offers pretty much what I want to see and source. I have already found two good brands – one from USA and the other from the UK. Their strollers and baby gears look really interesting and we anticipate establish long-term relationships with them. Further discussion will be held and I expect to conclude deals with them after the Chinese New Year. Initial orders will be smaller in size. But the business with these two new brands is expected to reach between US$100,000 and US$200,000 a year. Everything has been well organised here. I would like to see the fair expand further with even more branded products on offer.”

“P.T. Bilna is a leading e-tailer specialising in baby products in Indonesia. A majority of our branded products are sourced through local distributors. To increase our competitiveness, we are now planning to launch our own brand. I am visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the second time. I have already found four new suppliers from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Korea and Malaysia. The Korean supplier’s baby socks and the Malaysian exhibitor’s rubber cot sheets are both attractive. I will place orders of 500 sets each after studying the pricing and shipping details. Further negotiation will be conducted with the Hong Kong supplier for baby clothing and soft toys and with the Chinese mainland supplier for blankets and bedding items. This fair has a lot on offer. I am particularly interested in suppliers who show flexibility in MOQ and accept small-sized orders.”

. “MyMedia is operating feedo.cz, the biggest e-commerce business specialising in the sale of baby products in Czech Republic. We have extended our e-tailing presence to Slovak Republic, Poland and Ukraine. Our main products are diapers and baby food, plus various baby gears and accessories. This is our first visit to Hong Kong Baby Products Fair. We have found many interesting products available at highly competitive prices. So far, we have met with over 200 exhibitors. We expect to conclude business with at least 15 new suppliers from different places including Hong Kong, Chinese mainland, Korea and USA for a selection of items like diapers, breast pads, milk temperature monitors, strollers and car seats. We are waiting for the pricing details. If everything goes smoothly, we intend to spend about US$1 million for a good range of products from different suppliers. This is a fantastic opportunity to come here for sourcing. We highly recommend this fair.”

Branded baby items from Japan represent a significant portion of products we have been selling. “Plastimyr makes a wide range of baby products from walkers and swings to cots, safety doors and highchairs in Spain. When we source products, quality always comes first. At Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, we can find so many good items. We have taken the chance to meet some existing suppliers from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, and to place orders. So far, we have found a new supplier from the Chinese mainland for a variety of products such as highchairs and swings. We will conclude an order for at least one container of goods within this month to meet our marketing campaign. This fair gathers so many suppliers under one roof. We can meet all kinds of suppliers here conveniently. It is very important to come here to explore new opportunities.”

“Headquartered in Qingdao, Liqun Group is a major department store operator in the Chinese mainland. We are operating a total of 50 department stores across Shandong Province. Hong Kong Baby Products Fair is an important trade event for us every year. We are visiting this fair again to find new and suitable products for increasing customer demand. There is so much to see and choose here. We have found some good products including highchairs, strollers, bathroom toys, nursery items and safety products. So far, we have identified 5 to 6 new suppliers from the Chinese mainland for possible cooperation. We like the styles and enhanced functions of their products. The amount of orders will be finalised after further negotiation on the pricing and design details. Last year, we made some successful deals with new suppliers. “In business since 1961, Standford specialises in distributing a wide range of baby products in USA. With our own warehouses and marketing staff, we want to introduce more baby items through cooperation with good companies. This is my first visit to Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to source new brands and to explore partnership opportunities. I have found some 20 interesting brands and companies such as Pali from Italy, Goodbaby Group from the Chinese mainland and SHADEZ from Switzerland. Other business leads include a French brand, a German brand and some Spanish brands for baby gears as well as an Indonesian exhibitor. They are interested in entering the USA market and we can work closely with them to facilitate the sales and distribution of their products. Upon successful negotiation, the potential orders will be one container each with the new partners, involving an estimated value of US$70,000 to US$100,000. Everything has been well organised at the Hong Kong exhibition. It is great to hold multiple trade shows like the toys and stationery fairs at the same time so we can find more business opportunities. I will certainly visit the fair again.”

“Happy Babies strives to sell and distribute good quality baby food and gears for customers in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. We are visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the first time to source new and innovative baby items. The show is very impressive with a lot of products on offer. We have found four new suppliers for various items like baby clothing, strollers and toys. Further discussions are being held to close deals. We intend to place an initial order of €6,000 for baby clothing with Hong Kong exhibitor Natural Charm. Another order of €10,000 or more will be made for a French brand of strollers. We are also negotiating on two more potential orders for wooded toys and kitchen toys with two Hong Kong suppliers. We are pleased to be here and this really enables us to source good baby products. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoy the visit very much.”
