“The HKTDC has done a good job in promoting the Start-up Zone. Buyers from Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and the US have come to our booth to see our demonstrations and asked us to send them samples. The pitching event serves as a great platform for us to meet with potential buyers and investors and collect their feedback which is crucial to our product development. During the pitching event, we have made 10 new contacts from Australia, India and the US. We are happy with the results so far.”

Paul Lee, Co-Founder & CEO, ACE Communications Limited, Hong Kong
“At the fair, our booth is always crowded with buyers who want to try our headphones and make enquiries. Buyer responses have been overwhelming. The fair has generated many sales leads from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the UK and the US. The pitching session held during the fair provides an extra opportunity for us to meet with investors who may not come to our booth, and we have found a potential business partner from Hong Kong.”

Lisa Liu, General Manager, Jing Hong Industrial Co., Ltd., Taiwan
“This is our first exhibition in the Start-up Zone at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair. The Start-up Zone showcases a lot of new products and new technologies, attracting the attention of many buyers. The zone provides a good opportunity for us to promote our technology to potential investors. We have received serious enquiries from buyers from Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore.”

I have attended the pitching event which provides a good opportunity for buyers or investors to meet with start-ups, give them our feedback and identify new business opportunities. It is likely that I’ll co-operate with two to three start-ups that I met at the pitching event. The Hong Kong Electronics Fair is a good show.”

In addition, I am planning to buy smart pens which are found at the Start-up Zone. I like the Hong Kong Electronics Fair because the fair brings together a lot of exhibitors, showcasing a wide range of electronics products.”
