Fair at a Glance

There is a reason HTKDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair has grown to be the largest fair of its kind in the world. From 27 to 30 April, 2017, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 32nd edition will once again deliver the opportunity to present your products to motivated international buyers. Around 50,000 buyersfrom 132 countries and regions visited the 2016 fair.

Cautiously optimistic on sales prospects

HKTDC commissioned an independent survey on industry trends, which gave a ‘cautiously optimistic’ view of the future. Close to half of the 920 respondents expected sales to remain the same while 20% expected sales to improve. Figurines & Decoration Gifts was the product sector seen to have the most promising future. Practicality and quality were the priority considerations followed by pricing and design.

Create a high profile

Exhibitors can participate in activities which draw buyers’ attention. Product Demonstration and Launch Pad sessions give exhibitors a chance to show off their products in detail. Hong Kong Smart Gifts Design Awards 2017, judging products on originality and commercial appeal, is covered by media. Buyers can see the winning products in fairground display.

Showcasing your products

Hall of Fine Designs is an exclusive environment for high quality brands.

World of Gift Ideas is a busy, vibrant space for all kinds of giftware with a trendy edge.

iAccessories and Tech Gifts showcases accessories and add-ons for smart phones and tablets and other electronic items.

Green Gifts is a celebration of the natural world with ‘green’ which are in buyer demand right now.

Stand out from the crowd

Avenue of Inspiration is home to creative designers and young entrepreneurs with catchy products.

Art & DIY Gifts entices buyers of pictures, sculptures and art kits.

More value in concurrent fair

The HKTDC Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair 2017 takes place concurrently at AsiaWorld-Expo. Suppliers of quality printing and packaging, including ‘green’ suppliers, are ready to show giftware and premium companies how they can add value to their products. A courtesy shuttle bus service connects the fairs.

Gain insights and make new contacts

Seminars, Exhibitor Forums and Buyer Forums are all events which give insight on trends, technology and markets, while relaxing and convivial social events such as the Networking Reception are a great way to expand contacts as well as meet old business partners.
