“Our brand is nearly 84 years old and we pride ourselves on the quality of our products. We are exhibiting at the fair for the first time to find distributors and promote our premium labelling products and design suite. The suite allows customers to design and print their own labels, including QR codes and barcodes. We are already a well know brand, but the fair allows us to gain even more exposure to international markets. The visitor flow has been steady, and so far we have met around 40 useful contacts from all over the world, including Russia, Singapore, Panama and Hong Kong.

“I have been visiting the fair since 2004. We are a merchandiser based in Germany, and stationery is an important part of our portfolio. At this edition, there are a lot of products that I am interested in such as stylish notebooks, paper products and re-usable bags that are made from paper. The standard of exhibitors is high, and the suppliers here are focused on quality. There are a lot of international companies here and I have also been able to connect with many suppliers from Mainland China. I have exchanged business cards with them and I will contact them after the show to explore business opportunities. The fair is a great place to network, collect samples, and compare many different products under one roof. I will definitely return again next year. I attended the 'Digital Marketing: Innovation Key to Success' seminar. The seminar was very informative with many practical tips. It also provides companies with many ideas on how to deploy low cost marketing campaigns. ”

“We are an online retailer from the UAE that specialises in office supplies. By the end of this year we will also launch a retail store. This is our first time visiting the fair and we are looking for suppliers of general stationery and office supply products. At the moment we source products locally, but by coming to the show, we can find a wider range of suppliers from outside of our region. So far we have met with around 20 suppliers from around the world, and we are very interested in building relationships with two of them after the show. One is from Korea and the other is from Mainland China. The show is certainly a good gateway to find suppliers from around the world.

We are returning to the fair for the third year after our positive experience at previous editions. We specialise in animation, but we want to explore the stationery field further and we are trying to find Chinese exhibitors. “We are an Indian based retailer of stationery products, and each year I need to do a lot of purchasing from Chinese manufacturers. This is my second visit to the Fair and my experience has been very good. I have successfully located a number of products that are of interest to me, such as pens, colour pencils, crayons and art books that are popular in the Indian market. I am also very impressed with the new-to-market drawing boards at the fair - this is something that we cannot find from Indian suppliers. The range of exhibits is very satisfying and so far I have been able to network with 5 to 10 potential suppliers. Their products are of great quality and are reasonably priced. I have also fixed three factory visits to Shantau in Mainland China after the fair, and I am definitely interested in placing orders with some of them. This fair is an important platform for my year-round sourcing and I will certainly be coming back next year.
