HKTDC International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products- |
2 July 2014 – The 13th edition of the International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA), a well-recognized foremost platform for Chinese medicine and health products. The fair will take place from 14 to 16 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre; the first two days of the fair will be exclusive to trade visitors for extensive business and information exchanges to promote trade development. The public can attend the fair on 16 August to explore a wide array of Chinese medicines and health products from all over the world.
Positive Market Prospects
According to Euromonitor International, the market is forecast to have a constant compound annual growth rate of 7% over the next five years, reaching value sales of HKD 3.3 billion by 2017. Hong Kong is well positioned to offer Chinese medicine a prominent trading platform.
