SGS 'Certificate Verification & On-Site Inspection Services' ("the Services") do not endorse, represent or warrant any product, process or service. The Services are based on information made available to SGS by suppliers and clients, however, SGS cannot be held liable by any party for decisions made or not made, based on any incorrect findings arising from misleading or false information supplied to it.The Services do not eliminate client's or suppliers' obligation to ensure that they have adequate substantiation for their claims, including all claims communicated via any certification. The Services are based on document review (Certificate Verification Service) and supplier site visit (On-Site Inspection Service). SGS, does not release, substitute, or discharge in any way the Client of its obligations to monitor other locations that may be used in the supply chain for the product or service. SGS declines any responsibility in the event of damages (direct or indirect) consecutive to any non-compliant issues that may be revealed, relating to the operations of the identified facility at any other date. Consequently, client recognizes that SGS may in no way be held liable based on its performance of the Services, in the event any legal action would be taken against client, occurring prior to, during or following the performance of the Services. In case there is any conflict between the disclaimers stated herein and SGS' General Conditions of Service accessible at http://www.SGS.com/en/Terms-and-Conditions.aspx, incorporated into the client Agreement, then the disclaimers shall apply.
